ATTENTION California Bass Contenders: If you have never been to the bass fertile waters of the California Delta, I only have one thing to say… “YOU AINT DOWN”!
This coming year the 2015 Annual Basscontender road trip will once again make its way to one of the best fishing destinations the country has to offer. That is NOT a typo, with thousands of miles of water ways and tributaries the California Delta has consistently produced the largest tournament bags in the history of tournament bass fishing and the Delta Road Trip has consistently produced the same results. Fun, fellowship, great fishing and good times are at premium when we make our way up to the killer scenery at B&W Resort in Isleton, CA.
At the December meeting our Basscontender founding father Gabby Hayes will be discussing the 2015 road trip to the Delta. Save the date and make your plans to attend the road trip, all the details will be discussed at the December 3rd regular Basscontender meeting. As of right now the group is planning on traveling up to Delta staying Monday April 6th through Friday night departing Saturday morning April 11th. Rooms are available both weekends before and after the week but reservations need to made asap to lock in our stay. B&W Resort on Bethel Island is a safe haven from the real world and offers three man cabins on the water with the boat dock located right outside your room. This is a non club tournament event but the stakes are always high with each days sidepot derby event providing good times for all. Those won’t be the only steaks at the Delta Road Trip as Gabby & Bob’s afternoon barbecue is always icing on the cake.
