CALIFORNIA BASS CONTENDERS
San Dimas, CA
The California Bass Contenders is a Southern California bass fishing club based in the Los Angeles County area. Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM at:
Chaparral Lanes
400 W Bonita Ave
San Dimas, CA 91773
(909) 599-2313
Founded prior to 1980, California Bass Contenders is one of the oldest and most established bass clubs in Southern California. Our membership includes anglers of all skill levels, from beginners learning the ropes to experienced tournament competitors, and the club has built a strong tradition of competitive tournaments, camaraderie, and a shared passion for bass fishing.
We welcome both boaters and non-boaters who are interested in becoming part of an organized bass fishing club. Visitors and prospective members are always encouraged to attend a meeting and see what we’re about. Our members range from beginners just getting started to seasoned tournament anglers who have spent more hours on the water than they probably admit to their families.
At each monthly meeting, tournament partners are randomly drawn for the upcoming club event, meaning that anyone attending the meeting can participate in the next tournament.
Some meetings feature guest speakers from the bass fishing industry, and every meeting includes plenty of fishing talk, tournament strategy, and good company.
If you love bass fishing and want to be part of a club with history, competition, and a great group of anglers — come check out the California Bass Contenders.
